- Need to learn to communicate their way
- Always distracting your child basically teaches them to not pay attention to their feelings – it tells them, “I don’t want to know how you are feeling, just be happy”
The Fast Food Rule
- Lady taking order always repeats your order before going to her agenda
- Offers choices (you want something to drink with it?)
- When she knows that she has understood your order and she is sure that you feel she has understood you, then she moves on to her agenda (your bill will be $5)
